It is critical to keep rotating through impact, not with your pelvis but with your upper torso!! If you want to be more accurate with your golf shots, you must keep rotating your rib cage. Gears MoCap has validated the ABCs of the Golf Swing. I've identified that the acceleration rate of your arms during the transition is an absolute requirement for high-quality ball striking. Comparing two different tour players, both achieve high acceleration arm-swing rates of 77 m/s^2 in the downswing before impact. That is more than 4.25 times the rate of their hip rotation acceleration. The idea that pelvis rotation drives the arm swing is not entirely true.
